MIT Media Lab: 75 Amherst Street, Cambridge

Day 2, Saturday Sept. 23, the meeting will be held at MIT’s Media Lab, situated on the corner of Amherst and Ames Streets in Cambridge. The Media Lab is just a very short walk from the Kendall Square T stop, and if you drive, please note on the map that there is a public parking lot (Hayward Lot), 4 minute walk from the venue. You will be charged to park there. Please refer to the map below or the map of MIT.

We will be providing coffee, tea, water, and juices with a continental breakfast starting at 8:15, and will provide box lunches as well. There will be space in the Media Lab for you to talk with friends over lunch, or you are free to head outside to one of many beautiful areas in the near vicinity.

Arrival/Check-In for Gaia Without Purity Session: 8:15am-8:50am

Please try to arrive between 8:15am and 8:50am. During this time, event volunteers will be at the entrance to the MIT Media Lab at the corner of Amherst and Ames Streets to check you in and direct you to the event space. 

Arrival/Check-In for Methods: Natural Science – Social Science – Arts: 1:15pm-1:50pm

Please try to arrive between 1:15pm and 1:50pm. During this time, event volunteers will be at the entrance to the MIT Media Lab at the corner of Amherst and Ames Streets to check you in and direct you to the event space. 

If you arrive late or run into any problems getting into the building, please call me at 617-230-8212 and someone will come to assist you.

After checking you in, we will provide those of you who forgot to do a COVID test at home with a test kit. We will also provide masks to those of you who do not have one. We do have several attendees who are very immuno-compromised, so in deference to them we hope that you will mask up.
