Alberto Cavallo

Alberto Cavallo is the Thomas S. Murphy Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School, where he teaches in the Business, Government, and the International Economy (BGIE) unit, a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a member of the Technical Advisory Committee of the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).

Alexander J. MacKay

Alexander MacKay is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School. Professor MacKay’s research focuses on matters of competition, including pricing, demand, and market structure. His research has been cited by The New York Times, the Financial Times, TIME, National Public Radio, and the Economic Report of the President.

Michael Sullivan

Michael Sullivan is an economist specializing in empirical industrial organization. His research focuses on platform and e-commerce markets. Michael obtained his PhD in economics from Yale University in 2023.

Paolo Mengano

Paolo Mengano is a postdoctoral fellow at the Pricing Lab of the Digital, Data, and Design Institute at Harvard. His research focuses on market power, productivity, and firm dynamics. Paolo obtained his PhD in economics from the University of Zurich in 2023.

Santiago Alvarez-Blaser

Santiago Alvarez-Blaser is a collaborator at the Pricing Lab of the Digital, Data and Design Institute at Harvard and a PhD candidate at the University of Basel. His research focuses on empirical macroeconomics, specifically on price-setting and inflation. His previous professional experience covers research and policy positions at the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), Swiss National Bank (SNB) and Central Bank Research Association (CEBRA).
