Pius Akumbu

Dr. Akumbu is a linguist working on phonetics and phonology of Grassfields languages, including his native language, Kejom (Babanki). Dr. Akumbu is Director of Research (DR2) in African Linguistics at the LLACAN laboratory at CNRS in Paris. He is collaborating with the lab on studying speech and co-speech gesture in Kejom.  pius.akumbu@cnrs.fr

Hermann Keupdjio

Dr. Keupdjio works on syntax and its interfaces with semantics and phonology, and is a native speaker of the Medʉmba language. He graduated with a PhD from the University of British Columbia in 2020, with a dissertation entitled The syntax of A′-dependencies in Bamileke Medumba.  He currently teaches at Brescia College at Western University inhkeupdijo@uwo.ca

Ange Bergson Lendja Ngnemzué 

Dr. Lendja is a philosopher and political scientist and a native speaker of the Medʉmba language. He works with the PhonLab on aspects of Cameroonian languages and culture, helping to facilitate work with the Lafeng community of Medʉmba speakers in the west region of Cameroon. A primary focus of his research is on undocumented immigration,ablendja@yahoo.fr

Ariane Ngabeu

Dr. Ngabeu an Assistant Professor in the Department of World Languages and Cultures at Howard University in Washington D.C., and also a native speaker of the Medʉmba language. She previously worked for ten years as the director of the Middlebury College C.V. Starr study abroad program in Cameroon. Her research focus is in Francophone literatureangabeu@gmail.com
