Eliana is a Lab Manager and Research Assistant for the Harvard PhonLab in the Department of Linguistics at Harvard. She recently finished her Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics at the University of Texas at Austin. During her time there, she worked in the UT Sound Lab as an Undergraduate Research Assistant under Dr. Rajka Smiljanic, focusing on cross-linguistic speech production and perception, intelligibility, and speech segmentation. She is excited to now be working under Dr. Katie Franich in her NSF-funded project Speech and Communicative Timing Across Languages and Linguistic Contexts.
