Current Project Status:
- The team has completed the finished evaluation of RFP responses
- The team has completed preliminary functionality testing using vendor-provided sandboxes
- Initial security review of finalists’ vendor proposals by the HUIT security team has been completed
- Initial financial modeling for Phase III: Implementation has been completed and shared with HUIT and Library leadership
- The project manager, Vitaly Zakuta, has presented a project update that included key points about two finalists and initial financial modeling for Phase III to ITCRB Project Review Commitee
- The technical sub-team, under the direction of Stefano Cossu, the DRS Futures repository architect, has scaled up the pilot workflow for data and content migration to serve as a pipeline for image conversion
- Khamiya Oyelaja, the DRS Futures change manager, has completed change management stakeholder discovery and engagement activities that will inform implementation stage
Next Up:
- Complete sandbox API bulk testing and metadata and content modeling
- Finish vendor evaluation and make final vendor decision
- Finalize financial modeling for Phase III: Implementation and project operating tail based on final pricing
- Initiate full vendor risk assessment with selected vendor and HUIT
- Start working on communication and stakeholder engagement plan for Phase III
