DRS Legacy and Futures User Community Kick Off

DRS Futures User Community Meetings

We are excited to announce the launch of a new DRS Legacy and Futures User Community Meeting series, that began with our kickoff session on December 12, 2023. These meetings will be held 5-6 times per year going forward, with the next one scheduled for February 13, 2024.

The goal of these meetings is to increase transparency, collaboration, and communication between the DRS user community and teams working on both sustaining the current DRS Legacy system and implementing its future replacement. Specifically, the meetings aim to:

  • Keep stakeholders up-to-date on expectations and timelines for DRS Legacy work
  • Provide a forum to discuss known issues and user priorities
  • Reduce shadow systems and increase cross-department coordination
  • Reinforce the eventual transition to the new DRS Futures solution
  • Offer a platform for future user acceptance testing and training on the new system

The meeting structure will include brief updates on the DRS Futures project progress, communication with the DRS Legacy support team, and plenty of time for attendees to share best practices and effective usage techniques.

The DRS Legacy Support FAQ answers some of the common questions about support for DRS Legacy during the period of transition to the new solution.

We look forward to engaging with the passionate DRS user community through this new meeting series to improve platform transparency, collaboration, and user experience. Please reach out to the project team if you have any questions, feedback, or wish to attend.
