On this one hundred and ninth anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, we mourn the extermination of over a million Armenians in the killings and forced deportations by the Ottomans, as well as the concomitant violence to their historical, religious, literary, and artistic traditions.
We remember grandmothers and generals, poets and farmers, churchmen and artisans, all those who perished or fled.
In the great Armenian tradition of memory making, this is our յիշատակարան (hishatakaran) to all of you.
