
Max is a PhD candidate in Public Policy, working at the intersection of psychology, political science, and economics. He is interested in the formation and the effects of political beliefs, such as perceptions of political out-group members or beliefs about election fraud, and how narratives are used to persuade people
Prior to joining HKS, he completed a BSc in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at UCL, where he became interested in political behavior and psychology. During his Master in Behavioral Science at UPenn he got the opportunity to work with faculty at the Penn Center for Social Norms & Behavioral Dynamics and the Penn Identity & Conflict Lab.
Max is originally from Austria and loves to travel and try food around the world. Music also plays an important role in his life.
