STAHR will be hosting a planetary parade open house to kick off the semester! Come by this Tuesday, January 28th anytime 6:00-10:00 p.m. No prior involvement with STAHR or astronomy is required! We will be starting with Saturn and Venus (which is in its crescent phase!) before pivoting to Jupiter and Mars. If we have time, we’ll take a peek at Uranus, Neptune, and more. There will also be a constellation tour from the 8th floor deck of the Science Center!
Notably, the next few weeks are the last chance to see Saturn at a reasonable hour of the evening until September. Come before 7pm if you want a chance to see the crown jewel of the solar system! *cue vigorous argument between planetary astronomers*
