We are excited to announce that STAHR will be hosting ~open hours~ in the Loomis-Michael Observatory clear Saturday nights from 8pm to 11pm from this weekend onward!

These will not be open houses: we don’t expect to provide food, and don’t plan to set up telescopes and interpretation on the 8th floor deck. However, they will be a chance to bring yourself and your friends to the observatory for some relaxed observing. They will also be a chance to practice on the telescope, and beginning in July we will have skills sessions to learn how to use the setting circles to find objects invisible to the naked eye. Open hours are intended for members of the Harvard community, but you need not have swipe access to the telescope to visit!
