Data

The National Archive of Criminal Justice Data (NAJCD) hosts all publicly available PHDCN data. Publicly available data is anonymized, with no way for those accessing the public data to identify who took part in the PHDCN study, let alone attribute specific responses to single individuals. Located within the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) at the University of Michigan’s Institute for Social Research (ISR), the NAJCD receives funding from the Bureau of Justice Statistics, the National Institute of Justice, and the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention.

In addition to hosting the PHDCN, NAJCD hosts two large FBI datasets: the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) and the Uniform Crime Report (UCR), as well as the National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS).
