Makpal Kadyrbayeva is an educator and language consultant based in Cambridge, MA. At Harvard University, she is currently a part-time Language Consultant in the Department of Linguistics in FAS Arts and Humanities and a part-time Instructor of the Central Asian Language: Kazakh, Department of Slavic Languages & Literatures. With a strong commitment to community service, she co-founded the Turkicstan Center Inc. and played a key role in the Miras Boston Kazakh Cultural Foundation. Makpal’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s in Education with a focus on Mathematics from Taraz Pedagogical Institute. She is certified in ESOL and has completed various professional development programs, including initiatives focused on literacy and parenting. Fluent in Kazakh, Russian, and Turkish, with advanced skills in English, Makpal is dedicated to promoting cultural exchange and education in The Greater Boston Area. She is recognized for her contributions through national educational grants and scholarships from the Government of Kazakhstan.
