Hi! I am Liu Zhang, a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at Harvard University. My areas of interest are political economy and development economics.
My research primarily focuses on the gender gap in leadership jobs and its impact on firms in developing countries. I also work on how women’s rights shift political polarization and how culture affects firm growth.
I am on the 2023-24 job market and available for interviews.
