Latinx Studies Seminar Series

Harvard Latinx Seminar Series (HALATSS)

Applications for Spring 2024 are now open: Apply by December 15th, 2023

We invite faculty, researchers, postdocs and advanced graduate students to present their work in progress at our Harvard Latinx Seminar Series (HALATSS). The main objective of HALATSS is to strengthen the vibrant intellectual community at Harvard doing research on U.S. Latinx/e studies and populations by providing a friendly forum to showcase work-in-progress and get constructive feedback from an interdisciplinary audience. We encourage a paper or chapter to be circulated a week prior to the talk, although is not a requirement.

The seminar will meet 3 times per semester.

This initiative is facilitated by the Latinx Studies Working Group (LSWG) and the Committee on Ethnicity, Migration, Rights (EMR) at Harvard, with the support of Observatorio Cervantes.
