Ceibal and the Escuela Calabria 
(Be patient while the video above loads and starts playing). We carried out fieldwork in the Escuela Calbria, which is an “escuela completa” — i.e., children stay at the school for the whole day. They have 2 required hours of free play each day. This type of school represents a substantial investment on part of the government and merits sustained attentiveness of research teams and policy-makers.
