On Friday afternoons during the first two weeks, you’ll have the chance to join fun outings with local college students and experience the culture, history, and beauty of Taipei together! To suit different interests, we’ve prepared three themed routes for you to choose from — outdoor adventures, sightseeing highlights, and indoor leisure.
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, don’t worry! You’re welcome to stay indoors and spend a relaxing afternoon playing board games and chatting in the classroom.
Of course, Friday activities are completely optional — you can always stay in your dorm and enjoy the AC. :p
The Friday Outings in the first two weekswere excellent ways for students to get acclimated to transportation in Taiwan and also see Taipei’s tourist sites whilst practicing/studying Chinese.
