Ying-Chieh Wang has been teaching at Harvard since 2020 and is the course head for CHIN S-130XC: Pre-Advanced Modern Chinese for Heritage Speakers at HTA. Before joining Harvard, she taught Chinese at Wake Forest University and National Taiwan University. She received her Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language from National Taiwan Normal University. Her research interests include Chinese language pedagogy, curriculum design, and community-based language learning. In her free time, Ying-Chieh enjoys taking her dog Brownie on hikes and swims. She is an avid milk tea drinker, always on the hunt for the best milk tea in town.
