
Minglei Lin holds an M.A. in Education with a concentration in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language. His academic background provides him with broad expertise in Chinese language education, pedagogy, and classical Chinese literature. He also holds multiple teaching certifications, including in Chinese language instruction, special education, and elementary education.
He is an experienced and dedicated Chinese language instructor with over six years of teaching experience at Harvard University. In the Harvard Taipei Academy (HTA) summer program, he served as the assistant instructor for CHIN S-130C in 2023 and as the course head for CHIN S-140C in 2024 and 2025.
His research interests include Chinese language pedagogy and instructional materials development, with several publications focusing on Classical Chinese textbooks for non-native learners. He also explores the learning trajectories of advanced second-language students.
Outside the classroom, Minglei enjoys traveling, exploring culinary cultures, playing sports, and reading. He is passionate about discovering new experiences and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds while continuing to expand his global perspective.
