Policy

Every semester, our policy project teams develop policy reports commissioned by officials within U.S. government agencies, foreign governments, non-governmental organizations, and private clients. At the conclusion of the semester, each team presents their findings to the commissioning organization, often traveling to present in-person. Our research teams undergo a rigorous training process at the beginning of each semester and leverage networks of Harvard-affiliated foreign policy leaders and databases to deliver differentiated insights. We are deeply appreciative of the support that our partners provide in commissioning research, advising our members, and providing real-world training to the next generation of foreign policy leaders. Organizations interested in advising future policy projects are welcome to contact president@hufpi.org to initiate a discussion.

*We do not take any formal policy positions as an organization to ensure the impartial research and learning of our members. Our policy teams strictly operate under the mentorship of the following organizations; these projects do not represent formal employment arrangements.*
