Eun Se is a PhD Candidate in Sociology at Harvard University. She studies Asian and Asian American transnational migration and education, exploring the experiences of and relationships between immigrants, temporary migrants, and non-migrants in transnational social spaces. Her dissertation is a qualitative study of the transnational transmission and transformation of educational norms, practices, and institutions between immigrants, temporary migrants, and non-migrants in Korea and the U.S.

Eun Se was born and grew up in Seoul, South Korea, moved to New York for college, and now moves between Cambridge and Seoul.
