We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Qianni Peng to the Zheng Lab!
Qianni joins us from Boston College, where she completed her Ph.D. in Chemistry under the mentorship of Dr. Eranthie Weerapana. Her doctoral work focused on profiling the ligandability of nuclear cysteine residues and uncovering how these covalent interactions influence nuclear protein function.
Before her Ph.D., Qianni earned her B.Sc. in Chemistry from Wuhan University. She joined the Zheng Lab in September 2025, where her research will center on developing small molecules to chemically restore the function of dysregulated nuclear protein mutants.
