This sweater is a striking piece of wearable art, designed and handmade with a personal touch, following a general pattern by Jessie Maed Designs. It is a vibrant homage to the microscopic beauty of the cerebellar cortex, as captured in a six-color fluorescence confocal image from my research project. This wearable art piece translates the intricate dance of molecules within the cerebellum into a tapestry of color and pattern. It features a kaleidoscopic array of hues, reflecting the fluorescent tags used to identify various molecules within the brain tissue. Each color and pattern interweave to form a design that resonates with the complexity and beauty of neurological structures, making the sweater not just a statement piece but also a storyteller of scientific exploration.
