Jake Tomlinson
Jake is originally from Scottsdale, AZ. He completed his undergraduate studies at Northeastern University in Boston in chemical engineering. During his undergrad, he also worked on a peptide based vaccine at a neoantigen company, and a photoredox cell surface labeling system for discovering new drug targets at Merck. Jake started his PhD at Harvard in the Fall of 2019, and will work to develop a cancer therapeutic.

Nathan Le Sage

Dan DiPrimio
Dan grew up in Watertown, Connecticut. He earned a combined BS/MS in Chemistry from Yale University, where he worked on the design of an artificial metalloenzyme for nitrogen reduction in the lab of Professor Patrick Holland. Dan started his PhD at Harvard in Fall 2021, switching fields to medicinal chemistry. Outside of lab, he enjoys weightlifting and playing guitar.

Kevin Schult
Kevin grew up in Hamilton, NY. He completed his BS in Biochemistry at Tufts University in 2022. While an undergrad at Tufts, he worked with Professor Yu-Shan Lin on the computational design of well-structured cyclic peptides. Kevin started his PhD at Harvard in Fall 2022, and will use computational and synthetic methods to develop cancer therapeutics.

Ralston Goldfarb
Ralston grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. He earned a BA in Chemical Biology from Case Western Reserve University, working with Professor Drew Adams on high throughput screening methods to elucidate lipid metabolism pathways in colorectal cancers. Ralston began his PhD at Harvard in the fall of 2024. In his free time, Ralston enjoys listening to music, baking, and playing chess.

Ashley Richardson
LABORATORY ADMINISTRATOR
Ashley has several years of experience in higher education administration. She previously worked at Harvard Divinity School and Northeastern University, where she earned her M.Ed. Currently, Ashley is the Laboratory Administrator for the Shair Lab in the Harvard Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology.
