Scott Mackenzie is an international media executive with over 20 years’ experience in traditional and digital media.
He has served as CEO of BuzzFeed Japan since early 2019. The company operates Japanese versions of BuzzFeed, news site HuffPost, and Tasty, the world’s leading online food brand.
Prior to BuzzFeed, Mackenzie spent nearly a decade at NBCUniversal in Tokyo and Singapore. He started his career at MTV, working in the New York, Berlin, and Seoul offices.
