Joseph Kahn is the executive editor of The New York Times. Previously, he served as managing editor from 2016 to 2022.
Kahn began his career in 1987 at The Dallas Morning News and then worked as a China correspondent for The Wall Street Journal.
He joined The Times in 1998 and served as a business reporter, economics correspondent, foreign correspondent in China, and editor of the International desk.
Kahn is a two-timeĀ Pulitzer winner with a long track record of both producing and helping journalists produce their most ambitious and courageous work.
