Anne Nishimura Morse, William and Helen Pounds Senior Curator of Japanese Art at the Museum

of Fine Arts, Boston has organized many exhibitions including In the Wake: Japanese Photographers

Respond to 3-11 (2015) and Takashi Murakami: Lineage of Eccentrics (2017). In 2022-23 she was the Cal

French Distinguished Visiting Professor for Japanese Art at the University of Michigan. She served

as co-chair of the Arts Dialogue Committee for the United States-Japan Conference on Cultural and

Educational Interchange (CULCON).
