Farzaneh Karegar

Farzaneh Karegar is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Karlstad University, working on the HCI aspects of differential privacy. During her PhD at Karlstad University under the supervision of Professor Simone Fischer-Hübner, she worked on user-centred transparency, intervenability and consent. She proposed, implemented, and evaluated different tools and solutions for empowering users to take control of their data. Her research interests lie at the intersection of HCI and privacy and security fields.
