Hobbies/Interests

I’m currently in the process of getting my pilot’s license in the summers back home in Alaska. I’m presently licensed to solo in a PA-18 Super Cub, and I’ve completed all of the requirements for my full license except my solo cross country flight, and the written test. I plan to work through those and take the checkride at as soon as I’m free to do so.

In the winter I also spend a lot of time enjoying the outdoors. Cross country or downhill skiing, snowmachining, or winter hiking are things you might find me doing on the weekend. Back in high school I skied competitively for Dimond Highschool, and since then it has remained one of my favorite ways to get outside.

At Harvard, I get outdoors with the Harvard Outing Club, hiking the white mountains whenever I get some free time. I’m also treasurer for the Fleur De Lis club and pledging as part of the Sigma Chi fraternity, through which I have met some truly amazing friends who I spend the weekends with.

When I’m not making the most of the snow or hanging out with friends, I also play video games as a hobby. I’ve sunk many an hour into Overwatch and Destiny, as well as Minecraft realms with friends. I enjoy making adventure maps and datapacks using commands in Minecraft, and have a few packs which we often upload on worlds, in addition to the standard Vanilla Tweaks. In my spare time I work on my Kit PVP datapack which has elemental themed classes.
