Bio

I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of History at Harvard University and a Lecturer at the Kyiv School of Economics. My research focuses on the history of the Soviet Union, with a particular interest in Soviet migration regimes, the intergenerational history of Soviet internationalist networks, and the intellectual history of political migrants.

My academic journey began at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, where I earned a B.A. in history and pedagogy. I then completed an M.A. in Modern History of Ukraine at the Ukrainian Catholic University, followed by an M.A. in European and Russian Studies at Yale University. Over the years, my work has been recognized with several awards and fellowships, including the Kowalsky Prize in Ukrainian Studies (2015), the Global Dialogues Fellowship at The New School for Social Research (2018), and the Merit Fellowship and European Studies Council Fellowship from the MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies at Yale University (2021–2023).

Since 2015, I have been involved in numerous qualitative studies examining the experiences and lives of internally displaced persons in Ukraine, leading over 20 research projects in collaboration with both international and domestic organizations. I also occasionally participate in sociological research as an investigator, research designer, or reviewer.

In addition to my academic work, I have been the lead researcher at the War Childhood Museum (Ukraine) since 2020.
