Bio

My name is Marco Mari, I am an Italian entrepreneur passionate about manufacturing, politics, law and economics. I graduated in Juridical Science at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan with a dissertation on the ECHR jurisdiction.

Growing up in a mill-town, Valdagno, I soon became interested in entrepreneurship and its social impact. This led me to be part of the founding team of the Italia Innovation Program, engaging with institutions, companies and researchers to map and act on new shared-value creation opportunities.

Alongside my entrepreneurial venture, I also enjoyed working inside Italian established corporations, such as the illy and Benetton groups.

After my undergraduate studies and business experiences, I am looking to extend my research capabilities in the social sciences with a particular interest on the future of globalization and the evolution of political and economic theories.

I currently live and work in Verona, Italy.
