The main objective of HALATSS is to strengthen the vibrant intellectual community at Harvard doing research on U.S. Latinx/e studies and populations by providing a friendly forum to showcase work-in-progress and get constructive feedback from an interdisciplinary audience. We encourage a paper or chapter to be circulated a week prior to the talk, although is not a requirement.
