Annie Farrell

Vice President

Annie is an ALM Candidate in Psychology with an undergraduate degree in the field of Psychology, and a minor in Digital Media. Professionally, she has over a decade of experience in the retail, marketing, and events sectors across the globe. Leading to her current position as an Operations Manager and Brand Strategist for a Local Woman’s Initiative.

Outside of work Annie has managed visual media for the non-profit Malta Camp USA, and was Head Designer of the HES PSC Psych-Ed Newsletter. This year will also see her transitioning into the role of Co-Editor for the Newsletter.

Living in a ski resort Annie likes to partake in all the activities it offers during her spare time, from skiing to mountain biking. It has also helped inform her current research which focuses on the impact of high-altitude environments and resort-town living on mental health. Including the higher than average rates of depression and suicide often found within these communities.

Through her research Annie is committed to developing inclusive, place-based interventions, with the long term goal of providing art therapy via nontraditional creative practices such as photography.
