Mission & Vision

The Harvard Extension School Psychology Student Club is built around the values of C.A.R.E. — Community, Advancement, Research, and Engagement.

Community: we aim to create an inclusive space where students, alumni, faculty, and anyone interested in psychology can come together to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and build meaningful connections.

Advancement: We are committed to supporting the advancement of our members — in their learning, personal growth, and professional development — while also contributing to the advancement of psychology itself through research and knowledge sharing.

Research: Recognizing the breadth of the field, our club explores and discusses ideas across all major areas of psychology, including clinical, cognitive, developmental, social, forensic, evolutionary, and applied psychology.

Engagement: Through engagement in events, podcasts, webinars, newsletters, and community initiatives, we strive to foster dialogue, highlight student and alumni achievements, and provide resources that promote both academic success and mental well-being.

Together, we are building a vibrant community where psychology is not only studied, but also lived, shared, and celebrated.
