Kimia Grigoriev
Kimia Grigoriev, is a Research Fellow at the Center for Mindfulness and Compassion (CMC) at Cambridge Health Alliance / Harvard Medical School and a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She earned her ALB ’23 cum laude and ALM ’25 in Psychology from Harvard University Extension School. A licensed nurse with experience in geriatric and psychiatric care, she also serves as a Behavior Interventionist and has more than a decade of experience as an educator, nonprofit leader, and public speaker.
As the founder and President Emerita of the Harvard Extension School Psychology Student Club, Kimia built an enduring community dedicated to advancing mental health education, research, and collaboration. Her work and advocacy focus on neurodiversity, trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, and suicidality—reflecting her lifelong commitment to inclusive, evidence-based mental health care for underserved and misunderstood populations.
She is also the founder of the nonprofit Learn with Kim and the author of Zippy Finds a Fit, a children’s book that promotes understanding and acceptance of neurodiversity. In her future clinical practice, Kimia hopes to integrate Animal-Assisted, Art, and Music Therapies to support holistic healing and emotional expression through creativity and connection.
