Grey J. Li
Grey J. Li is an ALM candidate in Psychology at Harvard Extension School and serves as Deputy Director of Events for HESPSC. Born in Shanghai and raised on the East Coast, Grey brings a global perspective to the community. She is fluent in English, French, and Chinese.
Grey holds a BFA in Fashion Design with a concentration in Art History from the Savannah College of Art and Design, graduating magna cum laude. Over the span of her career, she has cultivated a multifaceted career in marketing, branding, and editorial work—leading digital campaigns and shaping brand identities across industries while contributing editorial features for publications including VOGUE and CR Fashion Book. Her background bridges creative direction and strategic communication, skills she now brings to fostering engaging events and initiatives within the HESPSC community.
Academically, Grey’s interests span clinical, cognitive, and developmental psychology, with a particular focus on the origins of psychopathology. She is fascinated by why psychological disorders emerge, whether through genetic predispositions, environmental factors, or their interplay and is drawn to neuropsychological assessment as a tool for deepening understanding and improving outcomes for individuals with psychotic and eating disorders.
Grey lives in New York with her wife and two cats. Outside of her academic and professional work, she enjoys reading, visiting art galleries, and attending live music events.
