Ignacio has a PhD in Computer Science from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile and trained as an astronomer. His main area of research is AI applied to astrophysical problems. He currently focuses on developing models to leverage massive real-time data streams and teaches courses in the master’s programs at the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
