Tozzer Memorial Book Fund

Established

1982

About the fund

The gift of Clarence L. Hay, Class of 1908, to establish a fund in memory of Alfred M. Tozzer, Class of 1900, the income to be used for the purchase of books and periodicals in the Middle American field for the Peabody Museum Library. For the record I wish to say that there are no strings attached to this fund, and I leave without question the purchase of the books, etc. to the administrators, whoever they may be, to decide on what is needed. On October 1, 1979, it was voted to transfer the Tozzer Memorial Book Fund from the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology to the Harvard College Library.
