About the fund
The bequest of Jennie Schuman as a permanent fund for the use of the Peabody Museum Library especially in the field of physical anthropology, gift in memory of Dr. E. Leon Schuman. On October 1, 1979, it was voted, to transfer the Dr. E. Leon Schuman Fund from the Peabody Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology to the Harvard College Library.
