About the fund

On November 6, 1967, it was voted that the gifts in memory of Lucien Price, Class of 1907, be used to establish the Lucien Price Memorial Fund, the income to be used for the purchase of publications for the Harvard libraries in the following categories: Literature, philosophy and history of ancient Greece Editions of or works about Goethe, Stendhal, Alfred North Whitehead, Beethoven, Wagner, Sibelius, Ibsen Literature and music of 19th-century Germany.
