About the fund
The residuary bequest of William Inglis Morse. In memory of my late wife, Susan A. E. Morse, the income only to be used for the purchase of books and manuscripts for the Library of Harvard College. It is my hope that in making such purchases, preference will be given to books and manuscripts relating to Canadian history and Canadian literature, but in expressing such hope I do not intend to impose any obligation, legal or equitable, upon said College with respect thereto.
