About the fund

The gift of family and friends to establish a book fund in Celtic Languages and Literatures at the Harvard College Library in memory of Thomas M. Downes A.B. 1934. The income will be used to strengthen the collection. Each book purchased will be marked with a special book plate designed to honor Tom and reflect his interest in both Harvard and Celtic history and culture.
