About the fund
The residuary bequest of Frank E. Chase, Class of 1876, the income of which is to be devoted primarily to the purchase of books relating to the theater, the drama or related subjects, and thereafter to the general uses of the library. Such purchases are to be inscribed as the Gift of Frank E. Chase.
