Poetry reading by the Colombian poet Amalia Moreno Restrepo, followed by an interdisciplinary conversation on the understanding of Freedom and its political implications, as seen through her poetry and the ideological precedents that frame her work.

We will explore questions such as: How is her work composed? What importance does Freedom hold in her poetry? What connects poetry and politics? What can artistic devotion teach public servants? Does aesthetics help in understanding ideology? How can poetry aid the definition of freedom?
