The Lauder Lab is located on the first floor of the MCZ Labs building at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The address of the MCZ Labs building is, for mapping purposes, 26 Oxford Street, Cambridge, MA.

However you may (and probably will) find that entering 26 Oxford Street into into a mapping device or website will lead you to the Harvard Museum of Natural History (HMNH), which is housed at the center of a large, old-style brick building. The Lauder Lab is not in this building. But it is nearby! It is in MCZ Labs, the newer-style building attached directly to the left of the HMNH building.

The Lauder Lab is on the first floor of MCZ Labs, behind the Stephanie Pierce wet lab space. Please note that you must walk through the Stephanie Pierce space to access the Lauder Lab. The lab doors, as well as entry doors to the building, are unlocked on weekdays during normal business hours. You will need to make arrangements, prior to your visit, with someone from the Lauder Lab to gain access on evenings and weekends.

Parking

Parking near the Lauder Lab is extremely limited; public transportation is strongly recommended.

Metered Parking

There are a limited number of 2-hour metered spaces located on Oxford Street. These meters only accept US quarters. After 6 pm the meters do not require coins but may be restricted to Cambridge residents, so please read the street signs carefully. Parking is free on Sundays and resident permits are not required, but please remember the MCZ Labs building is locked on Sundays.

Commercial Garages

There are commercial parking garages available in Harvard Square. We do not provide directions to and from any of these garages; however, all are within walking distance of the Harvard Square MBTA station. Walking directions from the MBTA station to the Lauder Lab are provided below (under “Public Transportation”).

Limited parking is available for visitors in nearby University-operated garages including the Oxford Garage, located at the intersection
