Nisha Kumar
PhD candidate in Egyptology, Harvard University
Nisha Kumar’s main research interests are in settlement archaeology, urbanism, and the material culture of ancient Egypt. She has participated in several archaeological projects including Pylos, Greece, Luxor, Egypt, Gaziantep, Turkey, and Iraqi Kurdistan. She also has worked as a research assistant at the ISAC (formerly Oriental Institute) and Brooklyn Museum. She is also a student of Arabic with an interest in the relationship between Egyptology and modern cultures.
