Aya Ibrahim Abdel-Baky Yousef

Aya Ibrahim graduated from the Faculty of Archaeology, Cairo University, with a bachelor’s degree in Egyptology, then joined the joint Cairo University-Cologne M.A program in Environmental Archaeology based in Germany, where she studied for six months in 2017, and another 3 months in 2019. Recently she had her master’s degree in studying and analyzing the lithic material of a prominent archaeological site in Northern Sudan. Aya is currently working as a field archaeologist in many excavation missions in Egypt with DAI, IFAO, and the University of Hawaii in collaboration with many Qufti reises and workmen.
