Biography:

Megan Shahnooshi is an early educator and researcher with a passion for infant and toddler care and professional development. Megan has worked in the field of early childhood education for over a decade; her experience spans classroom teaching, research, curriculum writing, and teacher education. She is continually inspired by the competencies of very young children, the capacities of care providers and educators, and the rich and nourishing relationships between them. After working over a decade as an infant/toddler educator, Megan is pursuing her doctoral studies at Harvard Graduate School of Education to deepen her understanding of early development and elevate the early childhood profession. She leads a research project focused on the quality of relationships between young children and their caregivers at the Developmental Interactions Lab. Megan graduated with an MA from the University of Colorado/ Boulder Journey School Teacher Education Program and an EdM in Human Development and Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education. In her free time, Megan can be found at local farmer’s markets, thrift stores, rock climbing, and jogging around town.
