✨ What is a simple but meaningful interaction that made an impact on you?
I experienced severe bullying in school due to my voice. I vividly recall an incident in 11th grade when my best friend, after lunch break, chose to sit with someone else. I was devastated and cried uncontrollably. My English teacher approached me to offer comfort. Amidst my tears, I expressed my frustration, saying, “Life is so unfair… What can I do about my voice?” She responded with profound wisdom, saying, “Well, you can own your voice. Own your story.” This phrase, “OWN YOUR STORY,” has become my mantra. It taught me to embrace and be proud of who I am, regardless of my appearance or voice, and to accept everything that has happened to me.
