✨ What is a simple but meaningful interaction that made an impact on you?

A simple but meaningful interaction that I remember was during an online class with my Second Grade students in 2021. During show and tell, my student showed me his passionfruit tree and turned the phone around…”Look, everyone!! It’s my passionfruit tree! And look! This is my dad!” I still remember the look on his face and all of our smiles in the Zoom meeting room. It showed me what was possible at a time that felt very restrictive.

💭 A developmental relationship that impacted my life:

My grandfather.
