
Imani Franklin serves as Counsel in the Office of Senator Elizabeth Warren, where she works on judiciary policy issues, including conditions of confinement, the criminal legal system, immigration, drug policy, gun violence, government ethics, tribal affairs, and civil rights abuses in the national security system. Previously, Imani litigated police misconduct cases with the civil rights firm Loevy & Loevy, clerked for Judge Raymond Lohier at the Second Circuit, and was a legal aid provider with the International Refugee Assistance Project in Lebanon. She has also worked in politics, serving as In-House Counsel for the Stacey Abrams campaign in Georgia in 2022 and Associate Counsel with the Biden-Harris campaign and Transition Team in 2020. Imani graduated with a JD/MPP from Harvard Law School and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government in 2019.
